About Me

Pin It Now!

Short Version
I'm a mom of 4. I have a love for all things crafts and anything helpful or handy for the family. In March or 2012, I FINALLY got a DSLR, so I have added Photography as a new hobby.  Oh, how I love taking pictures and capturing the moment as I see it. I  wanted a spot that I can post ideas or websites that I find useful and share any crafts, projects or helpful info. God has blessed me with a beautiful family and a loving husband. I strive to be my best each day with help from the Lord...some days I fail miserably, but I learn from mistakes and move on. Nobody's perfect!

Long Version
I met my husband in high-school. We were in the same bio-chem class. I admired him from afar for 5 months before I asked him to the Girls Choice dance. He said yes and we started dating shortly after that. I didn't fall in love immediately, it was more like falling in lust...he was just so darn cute. Fast forward 6 years, we were planning on dinner and a movie(Star Wars I), he asked me to marry him at dinner. I said "yes" of course, I had waited FOREVER! We never went to see that movie, instead celebrated with friends. Two years after that we got married, yes we liked to take things slow...but not for long. Five months after we got married we found out we were pregnant and we were overjoyed to tell everyone at Christmas. The following August we had a baby girl and then went on to have 3 boys. Things sped up a bit, eh?!

When our oldest started Kindergarten, my life forever changed. She attended a Christian school and although I thought of myself as a Christian, I soon began to notice something different about the other moms. They were so confident in their faith...I wanted that too! In October of 2007, just a couple months after meeting these lovely women, I found myself driving to work one morning and asking Jesus into my heart. I cried for that 45 minute drive to work. They were tears of joy and tears of sadness. I felt like I had wasted so many years without a real personal relationship with God.

I get it now. I am so blessed and continually am thanking God for the fruit he is producing in my life.

God is Good!
